In the weeks leading up to the new year and during the first week of the new year, people often step back and reflect. Many reflect on the previous year they had, noting what they accomplished and what they did not. During this time of reflection, many begin making goals for the upcoming new year.
I am excited to be starting the new year with some 2024 goals for Chronically Exploring. I often am overambitious and want to do too many things all at once, while simultaneously wanting them all done perfectly. Because of this, I have narrowed down what I really want to focus on this year.
My 2024 goals for Chronically Exploring include:
- Become more consistent with writing, creating pins and publishing blog posts
- Continue to grow Chronically Exploring’s audience and community of readers
- Add content to some of the empty spaces and pages on the website
- Work to monetize Chronically Exploring
I am excited to work toward these four goals in 2024. Truthfully, I am excited to focus on something else in 2024. For me, 2023 was a year with many ups and downs. It was a time in my life when almost everything felt like it surrounded my health.
The year was spent finishing my undergraduate degree (yay!) and pursuing diagnoses for health concerns that had been worsening over the past few years.
After three trips to the Mayo Clinic, meeting with many specialists, countless lab tests, two biopsies, numerous scans and images, and much more, I was finally able to get some answers and make a management/treatment plan.
Going into 2024, I am hopeful this year will be less focused on finding medical answers and more on trialing treatment options to aid my body in healing.
This year, while working to heal my body, I also hope to spend more of my time and energy working toward these four 2024 goals to help continue building a solid foundation for Chronically Exploring.
